GCSE Music and A Level Music Tuition in Devon

I have been Head of Music in three schools and worked with a wide range of students taking them through to GCSE and A level music so that they are prepared for a University course.  Since part of my belief is that a teacher should start from the basis that students should be enabled to be independent learners and become better than the teacher it has given me particular pleasure that a significant number of students have gone on to study music at university and make it their career.  There is something particularly special when taking part in a rehearsal directed by a past student.

I enjoy very much encouraging creativity and it is so good that both GCSE and A level ask candidates to compose.  Knowing the excitement of hearing your own work come alive in public it is good to be able to enable students to gain this same pleasure.
